Tommasone, since 1870 quality wines from native Ischia grapes

On the north-western side of the island, from the hills of Lacco Ameno overlooking the sea, the Tommasone winery, with its ancient charm, its perfumes and its suggestions, is the protagonist of the tastings dedicated to deepening the knowledge of the Ischia wines they have been produced by the family business for four generations.

It is there that the grapes from the numerous family lands, handed down for generations and located in various parts of the island, are welcomed and processed: from Lacco Ameno, to Forio, on the western side, up to Sant'Angelo, the southernmost point of the island, which houses the Monte Zunta estate, one of the company's most prestigious vineyards, at 450 meters above sea level. Fourteen estates, with different exposure and characteristics, where only native grapes of the island are grown, namely Biancolella and Forastera, for the whites, Per'e Palummo or Piedirosso, Guarnaccia and Aglianico for the reds. Quality wines, the result of a solid family tradition and the commitment of the winemaker Lucia Monti, who today manages the company and is also the only female wine producer on the island of Ischia.
