It starts from Serrara (near the restaurant Bracconiere) and continues entering a wild and fascinating landscape on the west side of the island (Forio), up to the Frassitielli wood, a terrace of very dense acacias. In the woods, locust trees shade rocks covered with moss, lichens, and wild fennel.
The undergrowth is the kingdom of the wild rabbit that has played and still plays a fundamental role in the local culinary tradition.
Proceeding along the path, you plunge into the Falanga wood; here reality meets fantasy. In fact, in this chestnut wood it is possible to find the typical holes (the snow pits) and the shelters dug into the tuff boulders rolled from the Epomeo, as a consequence of tectonic settlements (the so-called Stone house), boulders that have rolled even down to the sea. The popular songs and the magical atmosphere of these places will certainly make the journey unique.
Once out of the woods, we resume the path that takes us back to the starting point where it ends with a suggestive tasting at the Frassitelli Estate of the Amber Cellars.

Description of the types of excursion
T = Tourist: easy, undemanding, within everyone's reach. It is a not long itinerary on narrow streets or wide paths that are always evident and marked and that does not require orientation skills. It never touches high altitudes and the differences in height are usually less than 500 meters. Requires normal physical preparation for walking.
H = Hiking: it requires a certain training for the length of the route and / or the differences in height to be overcome which normally is between 500 and 1000 meters. It is an itinerary that winds on almost always marked paths of all kinds, on obvious traces, but also on pastures and does not normally have exposed sections or, in the case of short passages or crossings on steep slopes with protections such as barriers or cables. It may require a certain sense of orientation and knowledge of mountainous terrain and requires walking training and appropriate footwear and equipment.
HE = Hiking for experts: These are itineraries that require long experience, training and physical strength from those who travel them. It is necessary to know how to move with skill even in dangerous terrain: scree, steep slopes or steep stretches, dense scrub, absence of springs. The difficulty of the terrain and the distance from the support points require total autonomy.
