From here we go up the path that takes us up towards the fumarole of "Montecito" a sulfur balcony from which you can enjoy the view over the Gulf of Naples, we are surrounded by Mirto, Erica and the mythical "Papyrus of the Fumarole". From here we enter the chestnut wood, the green is very dense, we are on the north side of the island. We always walk flanked by the "parracie", dry stone walls hosting wonderful plants. The climb is steep but finally we are on a flat stretch where we can catch our breath and look at the sea and Vesuvius on the horizon. We will see some stone houses, we are very close to the Falanga wood but we will leave it on our left to start walking the downhill path that will take us, between strawberry trees and ferns, to find a second fumarola. And still down with careful steps until suddenly the gaze opens on the immensity of the vineyards of the "Tenuta Crateca" a spectacle for eyes and soul. We will touch the rows of vines with our hands and then here it is! another fumarola, perhaps the most beautiful, testifying to the unique flavor of this wine that has been enriched over the centuries by the minerals of the earth of this volcanic island of constant surprises. The trail ends at the starting point.
