Why?
Because relaxation here is made of impulses coinciding with the primordial elements, and intertwining with the testimonies that man has left over the centuries: from dry walls, built stone by stone, with blocks of yellow and green tuff, delimiting the fields; to the Arabesque and Tyrrhenian architectures of the hamlets. Ischia is the largest and most populated island in the Gulf of Naples. Occupies an important position on the navigation routes in the central Mediterranean basin for millennia and, in particular, the Greeks of Euboea decided to build the first settlement there during their colonization of the West, in the 8th century BC.
Divided into six municipalities: Ischia, Casamicciola, Lacco Ameno, Forio, Serrara Fontana and Barano.
Each of these municipalities, following one another geographically in the island tour, is identified as a spa for treatment and stay, to express the historical peculiarities of the territory, which are linked to hospitality in the name of well being.
A centuries old feature that has evolved in recent decades with the creation - along the coast - of splendid parks and balneo-thermal gardens, real naturalistic oases, unique, created by far sighted operators. Thanks to its fascinating nature, Ischia (on whose name many hypotheses have been made, about the origin) is above all known, today, as the Green Island.
